What is Green for Life?
Green for Life is the first free outdoor festival of its kind in Palm Beach County. The main purpose of Green for Life is to educate attendees about a greener way of life while, at the same time, being chock full of music, entertainment and fun! Green for Life has entertainment, activities and fun for the whole family! The park will be separated into different areas pertaining to health and wellness, home and garden, office and sustainable products, food/nutrition and charitable causes. Each will have corresponding vendors showcasing the latest green products and services. In addition we are going to have a variety of things to do for all ages, such as: Motivating seminars given by nationally recognized speakers, Kids area with arts and crafts and man powered rides, Free boat tours of the Lake Worth Lagoon, mini green market, and live musical performances by local bands and national recording artists.
Who organizes Green for Life?
While WiLD 95.5 is the host of Green for Life, we’ve partnered with Bern Ryan and Nancy Stewart of Festival Management Group (www.festivalmanagementgroup.com) to coordinate festival operations which assures that Green for Life will be an event like no other. Green for Life would also not be possible without the cooperation and support of Mayor Jeff Clemens and Lake Worth City Commission. It also takes hundreds of volunteers who unselfishly donate their time and energy. Green for Life is community driven with many organizations helping to make the event successful.
